Caldmore Village Festival is looking for a volunteer to work along side our co-ordinating team to help organise this year’s Festival. This is an exciting opportunity learn new skills and to gain inside Knowledge about what goes into putting on a large event involving music, arts and sport.
The Person we are looking for….
- Will have Knowledge of the local Community
- Will have a few hours free each week which they can dedicate to the festival
- Will have lots of enthusiasm for putting on community events
- Will be good at talking to people
No experience necessary. We will train you and support you. And you will get to work along side our organising team gaining insight and knowledge about how to put on a community festival.
What you will have to do…
Depending on your experience you may end up doing anything from organising activities to helping to deliver leaflets. Putting on a community festival involves lots of skills and if you have a background in organising events in your local community or would like to learn how, then you may be the person we are looking for. You will particularly have the opportunity to learn about event management and event promotion.
What you will get from working with us…
Although we cannot pay you we will guarantee you will not be out of pocket from working with us. You will have the chance to gain new skills and experience in putting on community events. Most importantly you will be part of a team and get to express your ideas about what needs to happen.
