Rehearsals are now well under way for “The Journey Home” performance which will provide central part of Caldmore and Palfrey Carnival procession this year on May 26th.

Actors take on the role of characters from different stories – here we have Death, The Tortoise and The Gardener ready to wander into Caldmore in search of their stories.

Local people are invited to get involved in the Procession dressed as a character from their favourite story.

Work has now begun on creating Carnival costumes, wind socks and giant puppets. We had great fun today with the all day workshop at the Village Hub and this will continue next Sunday, 10-4pm at the same venue.

Everyone’s invited.
