One of the highlights of the Festival every year is the involvement of Caldmore carnival.  This year Artists Sam Hale and Alison Strain have been working with groups from Caldmore Palfrey and Pleck in preparation for the procession. This year’s procession lead by nationally acclaimed Roma/Gypsy music group Makanitza starts from Caldmore Community garden at 2.30pm and makes it’s way through the streets in a colourful parade down to the main site in Palfrey park. SO come as you are dressed for the carnival and join in the fun!Pictured, members of the  steering group prepare for the carnival carrying colourful peacocks made by participants from AAINA women’s group in Caldmore ready for the procession.
