The Cultures of Walsall at Palfrey Park on Sunday 25th September 12.00-4.30pm
Caldmore Village Festival Group has this year added a new twist to their annual musical
extravaganza by bringing all the Walsall diverse communities together to celebrate each
other’s culture.
The Cultures of Walsall combines an exciting mix of music, dance, food and cultural activities
from many of the Borough’s communities. English, Pakistani, Indian, Caribbean, Afghan,
Polish, Bangldeshi, Czech and Slovakian are some of the cultures that will be on show to
add to the live music.
We also have children’s rides and entertainment and arts and craft activities throughout the
day as well as Cricket and Football sports tournaments. We even have a special competition
for all the family. So there is plenty for everyone to enjoy and entry is free.
The festival this year incorporates the Caldmore Carnival Procession. If you would like to
join the Carnival’s colourful promenade as it makes its way through Caldmore and Palfrey on
route to the Festival site. Please come and join the carnival crew in Caldmore Community
garden in Carless street in Caldmore at 2.30pm. Come as you are or come dressed up as
you favourite character.
